15 of the cases are in Kristiansand, writes Fædrelandsvennen.
In addition, there are six in Kvinesdal, five in Arendal, four in Lindesnes and one in Birkenes.
County doctor Anne Sofie Syvertsen tells the newspaper that the infection situation in Agder is serious.
We must prepare for this
– We are in a challenging situation with an increasing number of cases of infection. What we feared, and which we hoped to avoid, has happened. We have several outbreaks of mutated viruses, and we have increased infection among children and young people. We are at risk level three, and we are at the crossroads between having control and entering a crisis, says Syvertsen.
Both Arendal, Lillesand, Birkenes and Grimstad have taken urgent measures during Saturday.
– We have the most serious situation in the coastal municipalities from Arendal and further west along the coast, says the county doctor.
