Lyudmila Gurchenko and Vladimir Menshov managed to work together on the painting “Love and Doves”. The audience praised the artist for the reincarnation, and she herself said more than once how grateful she was to the director for the opportunity. However, as it turned out, fruitful work did not help them establish communication.
According to the famous artist, she never managed to accept Menshov’s character traits. The fact is that the director was distinguished by inconstancy and was a man of mood. Therefore, one day he could communicate with Gurchenko as a closest friend, and after a while he did not even greet her in the corridor.
“As a human being, he is not close to me,” — admitted the actress.
She also noted that Menshov was an interesting interlocutor only when something interested him. At other times, he was “empty and uninteresting” and did not at all seek to make contact.
