“On April 13, 2022, the death of the guards missile cruiser Moskva and my second birthday. On this date, my friend and man Leonid Savin, who can really be called a comrade, died,” Gleb Lemeshchenko wrote on April 23 on his page.

Relatives of Savin, who is considered missing in the Russian Federation, discovered the post and contacted Lemeshchenko, but when asked to tell what happened, he replied that he could not disclose the details, because “he is a serviceman” and “the country said to be silent.”

A screenshot of this correspondence was published by the father of another missing Russian sailor who served as a conscript on the cruiser, Dmitry Shkrebets. His son Yegor, like Savin, is still considered missing. Dmitry also tried to contact Lemeshchenko, but received the same answer: “I have no right to disclose details”, after which Lemeshchenko blocked him.
