One year and still the perpetrators of the tragedy have not been held accountable for their criminal actions that led 57 of our fellow citizens – the vast majority of them young children – to death and plunged their families into mourning. A year later we are here again on the streets, to shout together that we do not forget. We will continue the fight to hold those responsible accountable and to cancel any attempt to cover up the responsibilities.”

As pointed out in ADEDY’s call, the main requests are:

– A horizontal increase of 10% in the salaries of the employees in the State, in order to deal with the accuracy and the inflation.

– RESTORATION HERE and NOW of the GIFTS

– Collective agreements for our salaries

– Abolition of the salary freeze for the two years 2016-17

– Abolition of the 2% unemployment levy

– Increase of the tax-free allowance to €12,000

– Increasing the allowance for unhealthy work
