Pemprov DKI Jakarta will apply electronic road pricing (ERP) aka toll road in 25 street spaces of the Capital. DKI Jakarta Council members have criticized the plan.
This plan is contained in the draft DKI Jakarta provincial regulation regarding electronic traffic control. The draft regulation has not yet been promulgated.
The draft regional regulation was issued as the governorship of DKI Jakarta was still held by Anies Baswedan.
View detik com In the regulation, on Tuesday (10/1/2023), it was explained that this policy would apply every day from 05:00 to 22:00 WIB. This is governed by Article 10 of the Regulation.
Meanwhile, the same article also explains that the Governor can give approval not to apply it temporarily toll road.
There are expected to be 25 streets in Jakarta implementing an electronic payment system. This is explained in article 9. Here are the details:

Council criticisms
Plan toll road in Jakarta this was also criticized by DKI DRPD members. DPRD Commission B DKI member of the PDI Perjuangan Fraction (PDIP), Gilbert Simanjuntak, said that Commission B was initially unaware of the speech.
“At the time we didn’t know that in Commission B we weren’t involved, suddenly there was a discussion about wanting a regional regulation. Well, we were surprised, weren’t we?” Gilbert said when contacted on Tuesday (10 /1 /2023).
“And if you suddenly want to do it, it hasn’t been talked about yet. Of course you have to ask the council for approval first because it involves the interests of many people,” he continued.
