The Council of State has appointed Mr. Alex Geissbühler as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BCF as of June 1, 2022. He will succeed Mr. Albert Michel, who has resigned.
The Board of Directors (CA) of Banque Cantonale de Friborg (BCF) will have a new chairman as of June 1, 2022. Appointed by the Council of State, on a proposal from the BCF Board of Directors, Mr. Alex Geissbühler will succeed Albert Michel, resigned.
Alex Geissbühler, 57, lives in Ueberstorf, where he also spent his childhood. He holds a law degree from the University of Friborg and a lawyer patent. He has been Vice-Chairman of the BCF Board of Directors since June 2017. Mr. Geissbühler has more than twenty-five years of experience in the financial market sector and is fluent in German, French and English.
