The price of the most expensive cottages and chalets exceeds ten million crowns. “The pandemic has caused demand for objects that have not been in the course in the past. According to the broker, people are increasingly interested in cottages in more remote corners of the Czech Republic. “The main role is played by the opportunity to hide from others, the current state of the cottage is now in second place,” adds Hejda. Most cottages and chalets are sold in the Central Bohemian, Ústí nad Labem and South Bohemian regions. The highest average prices are in the Liberec region, where the average price exceeds two million crowns. The Central Bohemian Region is in a similar situation.
