The Sept-Îles and Baie-Comeau cine-centers will open on Friday with a program of films to see with the family just in time for Spring Break. The director of cinemas in the region, Claude Rémillard, is confident of a sustainable resumption of activities.
The reopening will be with two animated films made in Quebec and soon some American films, including The Mission with Tom Hanks.
Cinema experience with popcorn
In the orange zone, catering will be available in the cine-centers of the Côte-Nord which will offer afternoon and early evening screenings to respect the curfew. The director Claude Rémillard announces the realization of an event with ten repertory films in March.
Programming in cinemas in the orange zone will still depend on what is happening in the red zones where the operation without popcorn is more complicated.
