“As part of the consolidation of the“ internal reserve ”, the organization, with the involvement of Roscosmos State Corporation, is implementing a set of measures to reduce the cost of the Angara launch vehicle, including the creation of a closed loop production of the Angara launch vehicle at the Polet production facilities – a branch Organizations, Omsk, ”the document says.
It is noted that the implementation of these measures will reduce the cost of the production of “Angara” to 4 billion rubles by 2024.
On May 27, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, announced that the second test launch of the Angara-A5 heavy launch vehicle may take place this fall, and in general, her flight tests will be completed by 2023.
In January, the State Corporation and the Ministry of Defense agreed upon modification of the Angara-A5M rocket. They approved both the appearance and parameters of the launch vehicle.
Angara is a family of environmentally friendly launch vehicles of various classes. It includes light carriers “Angara-1.2”, medium – “Angara-A3”, heavy – “Angara-A5” and heavy-duty – “Angara-A5V”.
