The Core i7-14700K is 17 percent faster than the i7-13700K (NOK 5,300).

The latter has eight performance cores and eight efficient ones – the new generation, the 14700K, has 8 performance cores and possibly 12 energy-efficient cores. The CPU clocks only 100 MHz higher than the 13700K, i.e. at 5.5 GHz. It is therefore other improvements that provide the performance gains here with 905 single-core points in CPU-Z and 14,965 multi-core points. The CPU should have 20 cores and 28 threads in total, which supports the earlier leak about 12 energy cores.
In Cinebench it manages 2192 points and 36296 points. There is far less to gain in the single-core test with an improvement of only 4 percent. The new CPUs are expected in October, where the K series is first out with the i7-14700K at the forefront.
