/ world today news/ “The University of Food Technology is among our long-term partners. We are confident that our constructive cooperation and joint work will continue in the future,” said the chief director of the Plovdiv International Fair, Prof. Dr. Ivan Sokolov.
He met with the rector of UHT, Prof. Dr. Plamen Mollov, to express the appreciation of the management of the Fair for the assistance provided in the organization of the contests: “The Consumer’s Choice” and “Innovation Contest”. The two initiatives within the framework of the exhibitions AGRA, WINERY AND FOODTECH 2022 were successfully implemented with the committed support of teachers and students from the university.
Assoc. Sokolov handed over letters of thanks to Prof. Dr. Angel Angelov and Assoc. Dr. Kremena Nikovska for their expert help in conducting the “Competition for Innovations”, as well as to Assoc. Dr. Georgi Toskov, Assoc. Dr. Mr. Panko Mitev and Ch. Ana Aneva, assistant professor – for the implementation of the “Consumer’s Choice” contest. In the second one, the students of UHT also took part, who processed thousands of survey cards in order to establish consumer preferences, and based on them, the prize winners of the competition.
For the high professionalism and contribution of the University of Food Technology in the WINERY AND FOODTECH 2022 exhibitions, the rector – Prof. Dr. Plamen Mollov, was presented with a special plaque.
The fruitful inter-institutional cooperation will continue in the future, affirm Assoc. Sokolov and Prof. Mollov.
