Bogor Regent Ade Yasin | entangled in OTT KPK. But previously known Ade Yasin often reaps controversy. Anything?
As is known, today the Corruption Eradication Commission conveyed initial information about OTT to Ade Yasin. He was secured along with several parties from the West Java Representative Audit Board (BPK).
“This arrest was carried out because there were allegations of corruption in the giving and receiving of bribes,” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri when asked for confirmation, Wednesday (27/4/2022).
Ade Yasin and other parties affected by the KPK OTT are still under investigation. The KPK still has 1×24 hours to determine the legal status of the parties affected by the OTT.
As for the KPK OTT, it is ironic because Ade Yasin had wanted to collaborate with the KPK. Ade Yasin has also reaped several controversies. Here is the list:
1. Don’t Disband FPI’s Anniversary
Bogor Regent Ade Yasin was once in the spotlight for not disbanding the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI) in the courtyard of the Masjid At-Ta’awun Puncak. Ade Yasin explained that the event was already crowded. If the event is disbanded, according to him, it will not be conducive.
“Because it’s crowded, it’s already crowded, it’s already tide also. There’s been a lot of people. If we force the disbandment, it will not be conducive,” said Ade Yasin when met at the Bapendda building, Jalan Tegar Beliman, Bogor, West Java, Monday (3/1/2021).
“Yes, finally, yesterday we negotiated with them (the Islamic Brotherhood Front),” he continued.
Ade considered that at that time it was not possible to disperse the congregation that was already present. Therefore, the Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force finally asked the event committee to limit the time to 22.00 WIB.
“Because the place is also not too wide because of the parking lot, yes. The place is not too wide. We ask them to implement strict health protocols,” said Ade.
“We asked for the event to be finished early. So the event should usually be until 02.00 WIB, but we asked for a limit until 22.00, so after the remembrance the lecture like thathe added.
