The great director shot not only recognized masterpieces.
Director Eldar Ryazanov is rightfully considered one of the greatest representatives of the cinema of the Soviet Union. On his account more than 30 different paintings, which were a huge success. For example, in his filmography Carnival Night, Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! and many other tapes.
However, the third film by an already well-known director caused a flurry of negativity both among critics and ordinary viewers. We are talking about the picture “The Man from Nowhere”. The main complaint was that the Soviet people were not presented in the best light in the tape. In addition, the characters do not develop in any way, they do not get better as the plot develops, they do not improve.
All this caused such a strong wave of indignation, so for 25 years this film was banned. He saw the light only in 1988 as a recognition of the merits of the great master.
