He said during television statements on the “Heliopolis” program broadcast on the “ETC” screen on Tuesday evening, that the correct decision is to hold the festival, pointing out at the same time that the sixth session of the El Gouna Festival will be held on its new date with certainty during the 27th of this October after… The final postponement decision.

He added that the next edition of the Tour Festival may not witness the celebrations and noisy atmosphere that have become accustomed to over the past years, explaining that the festival will showcase various films of all kinds, comedic, social and other.

He explained that the festival will include displaying messages of sympathy with the brothers in the Gaza Strip during the opening ceremony, commenting: “We are against bloodshed, the killing of children in Gaza, and the assassination of a homeland.”

He pointed out that the occupying state exploits all artistic events to show its wrong messages to the world, explaining: “I was at the 2017 festival and saw the Israeli Minister of Culture wearing a dress with Jerusalem on it, to deliver her wrong message while our messages were all right.”
