The public was not immediately able to accept this connection.
Tatyana Drubich never dreamed of becoming an actress. Since childhood, she planned a completely different future, but at the age of 12 she was on the set of the film “Fifteenth Spring”, which completely changed her life.
A couple of years later, she met Sergei Solovyov, who was looking for an actress in his film One Hundred Days After Childhood. True, at that time he was married and raised a newborn son, but almost instantly fell in love with a young artist. The director barely restrained his feelings and constantly ran away from home in order to spend as much time as possible with his young lover.
Solovyov’s entourage gradually began to guess about a strange romance, but the lovers diligently concealed the truth. They managed to get married only in 1983, when Drubich was 23 years old.
And, despite the officially registered marriage, the public still remembered them the very beginning of the novel. Not everyone could accept that the 30-year-old director was fascinated by a minor girl. But Solovyov and Drubich were sure that there was definitely no crime in their relationship.
As a result, their union lasted until the death of the director in 2021. Drubich always supported her chosen one and took care of him, it was she who inspired him for all his work.
