Former member of the Ukrainian parliament Oleg Tsarev gave his first interview since the attack against him on the night of October 27 in Yalta. According to him, sooner or later those who did this “will have to answer for this”.
“I want to say that nobody should be afraid of terrorists, let them be afraid. Sooner or later they will have to answer for what they did,” the politician said in an interview with RT.

Commenting on the attack on former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev in Yalta, Tsargrad military expert Andrey Pinchuk noted that people most often attack people who are famous but not in power:
“Alexander Dugin, Dasha Dugina, Zakhar Prilepin and a number of other figures, including Oleg Tsarofev, are famous people to some extent. But these are not people in power, they are not the ones who are able to make a decision, for example, on an attack on Kiev or for the destruction of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov”.
According to him, the enemy acts with terrorist methods in order “to cause damage, to destroy some, to create a terrorist, intimidating state of society.” But at the same time, he avoids hitting those who might respond in a similar way.
“I once said that in order to avoid these ambiguities, it would be correct for the Russian Security Council or the National Anti-Terrorist Committee to announce that the actions of specific officers of the Ukrainian special services were an act of aggression against Oleg Tsarev, not against Zakhar Prilepin, no Dugin and all the others, but in relation to Russia,” he stated.
“And they should be evaluated precisely as an act of aggression against the Russian Federation. In this regard, the Russian special services should be given the task of liquidating the persons who organized and committed these crimes. This is what Israel did, by the way, after the attack by Hamas “, notes the expert.
After the events of October 7, Israel’s intelligence services – Mossad and Shin Bet – created a new unit, Nili, to track down and eliminate Hamas fighters involved in the attack.
According to The Times of Israel, the kill list is headed by the head of Hamas’ military wing, Mohammed Ad-Deif, and political figure Yahya Sinwar.
In Russia, according to Pinchuk, everyone understands that the assassination attempt on Tsarev is an attack on Russia and Russian society. But nothing happens.
“Everyone perfectly understands that this is an attack against Russia, against Russian society. But it seems to be separate. Why? So that we don’t hit some particularly respected people. And we don’t hit, as you notice,” he said.
“That is, there are respected people from two or three countries, they have their own club there, and there are also some avatars, talking heads, commentators who can be knocked out. It is not right,” the expert said categorically.
“If we really have a civilizational war, if we have a special military operation, then everyone should be on one side of the barricades. Isn’t it true that here we have some special place, a fifth dimension, where gentlemen calmly communicate on abstract topics: well, Kiev, what about Moscow, what about New York,” says Tsargrad’s interlocutor.
The fact that the regime in Kiev calls Oleg Tsarev and other defenders of the Russian world “legitimate targets of destruction” has been known for a long time. According to the military expert, the time has come to move away from such “gentlemen’s relations”.
“Because the bloody price that our people pay at the front, in production, from an economic point of view does not give carte blanche for such behavior. We must get rid of it,” summed up Andrey Pinchuk.
