The Peacock online cinema has released a full trailer for the mini-series The Continental, a prequel to the John Wick film series. The video has been posted on YouTube.
The action of the series will unfold in America in the 1970s. The plot tells about the young mafia Winston Scott and his hotel chain “Continental”, which has become a gathering place for murderers, thieves and the mafia. The series will show an alternative version of historical events, including the rise of mafia structures and a series of labor union strikes.
The Continental will be released on September 22 via Peacock. The series will consist of three episodes that will be released weekly. The show will feature Colin Woodell (The Originals), Mel Gibson (The Expendables 3, Father’s Day), Jessica Allen (See) and others.
