The sheet metal from the fence of a construction site in Plovdiv flew out and hit a woman passing by the site. The incident took place this afternoon in “Dimitar Talev” street, reports Desislava Mircheva, reader of “Maritsa”. The victim is her mother.
This is what the Plovdiv woman wrote in her report to our media:
“A new building is under construction next to” Billa 4 “on” Yuzhen “Blvd. in front of the” Notte di Vino “restaurant. Almost all of the sidewalk and street is occupied by the metal sheets surrounding the building. Today, 18.09. 22, at 3:10 pm, my mother passes by to get to “Billa”.
Due to the strong wind, one of the sheets broke away from the building in question and hit her in the hip joint, leaving her very stressed and scared. Fortunately, as she passed, she noticed that parts of the sheet metal fence were shaking very violently, and she was able to move quickly to avoid a strong impact.
But despite everything, one of the sheet metal sails reaches her and hits her, luckily escaping only with a slight thud and fright. There are no signs of what this construction is in the middle of the road, where even the movement of cars is difficult.
I saw an article on your site about the construction in question and that neighborhood residents are upset, and I decided to report the dangerous fall of sheet metal fences around the building. There are children playing around and there is a steady stream of people passing by, which the builder must be alerted to in order to secure the structures around the building.
This is unacceptable! I hope no one else was hurt. “
Already a month ago, “Maritsa” reported how the construction of the eight-storey cooperative on “Dimitar Talev” street in the “Yuzhen” neighborhood has challenged the people living in the nearby 1100 and 1101 blocks. Neighbors have called for intervention. of the municipal inspectorate to have the builder intervene in the right way, since it does not consider the time when there should be no noise, and also that it closes the road, regardless of safety.
According to the investors’ plans, their approved project includes an 8-story building in the shape of a pyramid, and will have a medical center, pharmacy and restaurant.
The construction contractor is the company “Arimax 55” EOOD – Stamboliyski and the site contractor is “Industrial Remont Stroy” with the technical manager Alek Edgaryan.
