Meanwhile, the other 5 sub-districts, namely Mataraman District, Aluh-Aluh District, Kontak Makmur District, Martapura District, and Astambul District are in Banjar Regency.
In addition, the panel of constitutional judges also asked the South Kalimantan KPU to hold a re-election in 24 polling stations in Binuang District, Tapin Regency.

With the re-election, the South Kalimantan KPU decision to win the incumbent Sahbirin Noor was canceled. This decision applies to regions that are required to hold a re-vote.
The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Kalimantan Province previously determined the votes acquired by the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor number 1, Sahbirin Noor and Muhidin, winning 8,127 votes from pair number 2, Denny Indrayana and Difriadi Derajat.
