The consolidation of “THE LEFT!” is in full swing at the beginning of 2024 – 2024-02-22 11:07:27

/ world today news/ The consolidation of “THE LEFT!” is in full swing at the beginning of 2024, the formations in the coalition have decided to create a single political entity. This was announced to the media by the chairman of the Coalition Council of “LEVITSATA!” Kostadin Paskalev. Corresponding vertical and horizontal units for internal coordination are also being created, civil councils are being built at local and national levels. “THE LEFT!” also begins a dialogue with potential partners in the left political space, Paskalev also pointed out.

Already at the beginning of the new year “THE LEFT!” the construction of clubs that reflect the priorities in the coalition’s activities also began. The clubs are formulated in several main directions at this stage – “Government and Law”, “Security, Order and Civil Rights”, “Health”, “Education”, “Agriculture, Forestry and Food Industry”, “Foreign Policy “.

At the beginning of the new political season “THE LEFT!” puts Bulgaria’s Schengen membership as a topic of debate, Kostadin Pascalev also said, stressing that the Bulgarian state is obliged to analyze its bilateral relations with other EU countries and to formulate a decision on the issue of its Schengen membership. “THE LEFT!” will also work adequately in relation to the territorial plans that were approved by the EC a few days ago – a matter of energy and national security. The direction of activity will also be work with the representatives of “THE LEFT!” in the local government in the context of guaranteeing an adequate and fair distribution of budget funds.

In his commentary at the beginning of the new political season, Valery Zhablyanov emphasized that the self-assessment of the representatives in the state power for their work radically diverges from the public assessment, and the goals set by the government – full membership of Bulgaria in Schengen, changing the constitution, creating a feeling in society for the development of Bulgaria – are not achieved. In this sense “THE LEFT!” is already in preparation for the next early parliamentary elections.

In his analysis, Zablyanov emphasized the government’s policy of sharp opposition to Bulgarian history at all times of common political and historical goals with Russia, and the destruction of monuments is not just an act of vandalism, but a continuation of this basic policy of the government.

On the issue of “rotation” in the government, Valery Zhablyanov defined a similar parliamentary and constitutional instrument as exotic, which replaces the will of the Bulgarian citizens to govern the state and an instrument that dilutes managerial responsibility.

Rumen Petkov emphasized that the Bulgarian parliament is obliged to discuss the Schengen negotiation process and the commitments undertaken by Bulgaria, where Denkov’s government formalized Bulgaria as a concentration camp for refugees and in particular those from Syria and Afghanistan. He stressed that at the European level, the problems should be solved within the countries that are the source of refugees, and not to transfer them to one or another country or camp – a policy that leads to an increase in crime and a change in the gene pool.

Petkov also emphasized the continued lack of commitment on the part of the state leadership to the Bulgarian education and educational system, as well as the growing functional illiteracy. He pointed out that in 30 years, nearly 1,500 schools have been liquidated, and a comprehensive program to guarantee the education system is missing, replaced by rewriting textbooks and replacing values.
