Traveling without insurance
Weißenburg – Because he was driving his e-scooter across the market square without an insurance license plate on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 at around 8:30 p.m., a 14-year-old from Weißenburg was stopped by a patrol from the Weißenburg police. During the inspection, the officers discovered that there was no insurance for the scooter. Therefore, he was prevented from continuing his journey and a report was filed for a violation of the Compulsory Insurance Act.

Weißenburg – On Wednesday, October 10th, 2023 between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the Ansbach traffic police carried out a speed measurement on federal highway 13 in the direction of Eichstätt. A total of almost 500 vehicles drove through the measuring point at a permitted speed of 60 km/h, the fastest at 40 km/h too much. 88 drivers exceeded the permissible speed, 51 of them have to expect a report and the rest a warning.
