Al-Akhbar (Nouakchott) – The Rally for Democratic Forces party described Mauritania as “living in the midst of a multidimensional crisis”, and called on the concerned authorities to announce a serious national emergency plan for employment to stop the bleeding of deadly immigration to America.

The party said in a statement issued by its youth organization that this multidimensional crisis has caused the deterioration of the living conditions of citizens, the spread of unemployment in society in general and young people in particular, with the growing sense of injustice, and the empowerment of spoilers and their aides to run public affairs.

And the party added that this crisis resulted in poor governance and the lack of confidence of Mauritanian youth in the authorities, and their ability to face these huge problems.

The party believed that the emigration of young people sounded the alarm for the future of the entire country, and did not leave an explanation for the mass departure of young people, despite the atmosphere of the political truce, and the actual start of gas extraction, and the hope that this carries for a comfortable life except the certainty of the government’s failure to bring about real change by opening The door of hope and ends the journey towards the bottom that the country has been going through since the exceptional rulings.

The party’s youth organization expressed its awareness of the danger to the safety of the lives of Mauritanian youth, the negative effects of immigration on the economic cycle and the many other changes.

The party called on the authorities in the country to immediately start communicating with the countries concerned with migration in transit or arrival to ensure the safety of Mauritanian citizens, and called on economic actors to contribute to curbing this migration by launching youth employment initiatives.
