Since then, this 5th year student at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Nancy has grown from 400 to more than 6,500 subscribers on Instagram! “I find it a little crazy, the extent that it has taken, it is a great room for improvement for me,” she laughs.
She is not fascinated by virtual popularity any more than social networks. If she tries to make sure to feed this account regularly “to please those who follow her”, the pretty brunette of 1.75 m who lives near Metz, in Ars-sur-Moselle, admits n ‘ have neither TikTok nor Twitter. “Me, my phone, if I don’t have it, it doesn’t bother me at all.” I never actually have. When I go to a restaurant, I take advantage of the moment, I am not stuck on it. Besides, I often forget to take it with me ”.

This moment of embarrassment in front of the current Miss France
Almost against the grain of her generation, the one who says she is passionate about art, writing and literature caused a sensation during a bling-bling evening at the hotel where the candidates were staying during their preparation internship. in Reunion, at the end of November. Dressed for the occasion in a tight golden sequined dress, she had come face to face with the current Miss France and stopped short: they were dressed almost the same way. Miss Lorraine had apologized, while Amandine Petit had exploded into laughter and replied: “We don’t care!” “.
“I was really annoyed, but deep down, it’s just clothes.” A sign of fate predicting that she will win the crown? “I took it like a lucky star that will bring me good luck, and a nice wink”.
Not necessarily very sporty, the gentle candidate was not very comfortable, a few days later, during the canyoning excursion, where she was paralyzed by fear before finally embarking on the zip line, encouraged by her classmates: “I’m really dizzy, it was complicated” she admits.

One fear: falling on stage
Very curious and eager to discover the world, on the other hand she adored “the enrichment” and “the total change of scenery” during this stay: “It was my first long-haul trip. For the first time, I drank coconut water from the fruit ”. Previously, she had hardly left the metropolis, except to go to countries – except Portugal – close to the borders of Lorraine such as Germany, Luxembourg or Belgium. His region? She adores him. “Often people ask me if I prefer Metz or Nancy. The city where I grew up or the one where I studied? Impossible to choose ”.
After three weeks of rehearsals in Caen, a few days before D-Day, Miss Lorraine is impatient to be in the spotlight. “My dream is that: to dance, to wear costumes… This is the bonus that I expect more than anything. In addition, there will be cameras. I did Miss Lorraine to go on stage in front of my family, to feel this adrenaline, to learn choreography… I can’t wait to be on Saturday, and at the same time I can’t wait, because that will mean that it will soon be the end ”. His only apprehension? The fall, although it is usually quite comfortable on the heels. “If we fall, these are images that will remain, but I believe in my lucky star, I believe in Amandine’s dress”.
Her objective is to reach at least among the fifteen: “I would like to go as far as possible to dance as much as possible, and if there is a top 5, it would be incredible, I will be the happiest in the world. I want to make everyone proud: my relatives, my region of course, but also my family in Nord-Pas-de-Calais and my dad, a high school teacher in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region ”.
