The conditions that you must fulfill so that the Consortium compensates you for the unused transport subscription | Radio Madrid

The Transport Consortium of the Community of Madrid has reported this Monday that it will compensate users for not being able to use their subscription due to the restrictions imposed to stop the expansion of the coronavirus. This is not a money back, the Consortium has announced that it is will allow you to use it “as a new recharge” when everything passes and public transport returns to normal, although some conditions must be met.

People who have recharged their subscription from February 1 for 30 days and that they have not used it or have only used it the first three days -the one with the validation and two more- may benefit from the measure. In contrast, those who have used it only four days or more will not receive any compensation. The new recharge at no cost will always be within the same area previously loaded and for the same user.

To request compensation, users may go to any Management Office of the Madrid Transport Consortium. They should only when mobility restrictions are over for the coronavirus and the day they want to recharge. The office staff will check the data and recharge it on the transport card.
