The concert of the US pop rock group “OneRepublic” in Riga has been postponed for a year
Riga, Nov. 10, LETA. The concert of the US pop rock group “OneRepublic” in Riga has been postponed to November 11, 2021, the organizers of the event “L Tips Agency” informed LETA.
It was previously planned that “OneRepublic” will perform at “Arena Riga” on November 14 this year, but the concert has been postponed due to the Cocid-19 pandemic. The purchased tickets will be valid for next year’s concert, however, the organizers do not report what to do for those for whom the new concert date is not suitable and they want to get their money back.
“At a time when the Covid-19 pandemic is disrupting plans around the world, not all major concert tours are being postponed, many of them are simply being canceled. OneRepublic has decided to postpone not only its concert tour, but will return to normal, would bring even more joy to its fans, “said the concert organizers in a statement.
Previously, the band gave a concert in Riga in 2014.
OneRepublic was founded in 2002 in Colorado Springs, USA by former schoolmates – soloist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter Ryan Teder and guitarist Zac Filkins. The current line-up also includes guitarist Dru Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kacl, drummer Eddie Fischer and keyboardist Brian Willett.
OneRepublic was promoted in 2007 and collaborated with producer Timbaland, who remixed and included the band’s song “Apologize” on their album.
