The Local Government Board of A Coruña City Council has approved the modification of the ordinance for conservation and rehabilitation of residential buildings.
This is a change that aims to simplify the procedure for granting aid. The modification will also allow greater financial control of the works subject to aid and a more detailed quantification of the projects.
The session has also given the green light to the extension of the urban municipal camp services contract, for children from 4 to 16 years old, during Christmas and summer, until 2021, with a budget of 145,000 euros.
Two fines to a local in Orzán
The board has approved the imposition of two sanctions on the owner of a store in Orzán for exceeding the allowed capacity by more than 25%. It is licensed to accommodate a maximum of 24 people, and this summer the local police counted 44.
Renovation of the Social Security Treasury building
The session has approved, at the request of the Treasury, the incorporation of changes to the license that the Council granted in April 2019, after the General Directorate of Heritage imposed conditions on the reform in Federico Tapia. The autonomous body imposes that the exterior carpentry must be made of anodized aluminum of the darkest color. The building has environmental protection, hence its rehabilitation must go through Heritage.
