Playoffs Europa League will be held tonight. Here’s the full schedule, including the Barcelona match.
The Europa League applies new rules this season. Each group winner in the preliminary round has the right to qualify directly for the last 16, while the eight group runners-up must enter the playoffs first.
The runners-up will face the ‘outcast’ teams from the Champions League in a two-legged format. The aggregate winner of this match will meet the group winners in the round of 16 phase.
The group runners-up in the preliminary round include Rangers FC, Napoli, Real Sociedad, Olympiakos, Real Betis, Braga, Lazio and Dinamo Zagreb. Meanwhile, the Champions League dropout teams are Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, RB Leipzig, Atalanta, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Sheriff Tiraspol, Porto and Sevilla.
The arrivals from the Champions League will host first in the first leg on Friday (18/2/2022) early morning WIB. The group runners-up took turns to host the second leg a week later.
