Brexit: Crustacean trucks outside Downing Street in protest against bureaucracy
LONDON (Reuters) – More than two dozen lorries loaded with shellfish parked outside the British Parliament and Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s residence on Monday to protest red tape at the borders, following the post-Brexit trade deal with European Union: Many fishermen have been unable to export their merchandise to the EU since the introduction at the beginning of the year of catch certificates, health checks and customs declarations, which cause delays in deliveries and encourage European customers to cancel their orders.
