The commotion of a man drove a fast sedan that hit the outside gate The Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The man was said to be in an “abnormal” condition when he was arrested.
Reported by the Associated Press citing the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saturday (31/10), the incident occurred on Friday (30/10) at around 22.30 local time. You can see the man’s car crashing into the mosque barrier and driving it until it crashes into the gate on the south side of the Grand Mosque.
The spokesman for the governor of the Mecca region, Sultan al-Dosari, said on Friday (30/10) at 22.30 local time, security forces in Mecca came in response to an accident, in which a car hit one of the entrance gates of the Grand Mosque.
“The car turned while traveling at high speed on one of the roads surrounding the southern court of the Grand Mosque. Thankfully, no one was injured,” he said according to SPA.
The driver has now been arrested, see the next news.
