The FACR has been dealing with the appointment of a panel of judges since the second half of October after a corruption scandal broke out around the former vice-president of the association, Roman Berbr. The affair mainly concerns the alleged influence of results through judges.
Shortly after the outbreak of the affair, the Executive Committee dismissed a panel of judges headed by Jozef Chovanec and appointed a temporary one. Tomáš Bárta, a representative of the League Football Association, remained in it, and the other members are regular expert Jiří Kureš and the chairman of the judges in the steering committee for Moravia, Jan Zahradníček.
