Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences marked their hands in the courtyard of the Faculty as a symbol of the call to leave a mark on society and on their peers.
On March 13 and 14, the traditional moment of welcome to the students who join the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of the Diego Portales University: the marking of hands on one of the walls of the Faculty as symbol of the call to leave a mark on society and on their peers.
“The focus of this activity was to show belonging to a community and to a complex society, which challenges us in terms of high levels of interdependence. We care that our students are excellent professionals, for which they must be expert technicians and agents who do not forget that behind their proposals and solutions there are not only numbers, but also social problems and people who suffer from them”commented Mauricio Gutierrezdirector Teaching and Learning Support Center faculty.
“Our goal is promote collaborative work to build a protected educational community that promotes learning and values respect for diversity”he concluded.
