“The Sudanese armed forces communicated with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the country to hand over thirty members of the rebel militia (from the palace) who were captured by our forces during the battles,” the army said in a statement.
He added that the handover of minor prisoners will take place in Omdurman as soon as the response is received from the organization’s representatives.
“Another group of 200 rebels (not minors) will also be handed over when the necessary arrangements are completed with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross,” he added.
Earlier, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan, Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, known as “Hamidti”, denied in an audio recording that his forces were executing prisoners, considering that this matter was just a “trick”.
