According to him, the situation in the city itself and around it “becomes more and more difficult every day”
In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the situation for Ukraine is getting complicated. The Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and one of the commanders of “Azov” Maxim Zhorin drew attention to this, writes Strana.ua.
In his words, the situation in and around Bakhmut itself “is becoming more and more difficult every day”.
“Now the enemy has turned its attention and most of its forces directly to the city itself. They are trying to pass through the territories of the private sector, industrial zones. There are very heavy battles for every house, for every meter. Our most a big problem is that now the most combat-ready units of our army are losing their best fighters. Unlike the Russians, who dumped the most garbage here,” Zhorin wrote on his Telegram channel.
He is convinced that no amount of tanks and planes will be able to compensate the Ukrainian army for the loss of those soldiers who are now dying on the Bakhmut front.
The head of the OVA of Donetsk, Pavel Kirilenko, said that intense shelling continues near Bakhmut, and in the city itself, an administrative building and a nine-story cooperative were damaged.
And the other day, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, told why the armed forces of Ukraine are not leaving Bakhmut, which is not very important strategically.
