SEGA has released another gameplay video for the upcoming open-world adventure Sonic Frontiers, giving us a look at the combat system.
In the last few days, SEGA had already released the first gameplay for the upcoming action-adventure “Sonic Frontiers”. Now they’ve taken it one step further via IGN First and provided a whopping six minutes of gameplay for the combat system. So you can already see how Sonic runs dizzy the enemies.
Sonic uses powerful punches and kicks
The developers have great ambitions for “Sonic Frontiers” and want to take the classic brand to new heights. It strives for high test scores by revolutionizing the series and offering sprawling open-world zones where the fast-paced hedgehog roams, uncovering secrets and stomping enemies to the ground.
Worlds will collide so fans can experience something completely new too. The playful freedom should be combined with the classic strengths of the series. As you can already see in the new video, a wide variety of enemies will also be waiting for you on the Starfall Islands, where you can look around in dense forests, barren deserts and majestic waterfalls.

However, “Sonic Frontiers” has not yet received a concrete release date. So far, SEGA has only spoken of a release in this year’s Christmas business. The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC are to be used as platforms. First, here’s the latest gameplay video:
