Several theater groups from the department of Colonia were awarded at the 18th edition of the Dinorah Medeiros Interior Theaters Biennial, which took place in Paysandú last weekend.

The independent cast of the Heritage of Colonia del Sacramento received the recognition for Best Show with the presentation of the work My whole life. In addition, Valeria Boné won the award for best actress and the award for best cast went to Ana Cecilia García, Lorena Rochón, Valeria Boné and Ricardo Utrera.
