A compilation was released in February Blizzard Arcade Collection. The package of retro games for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch offered three titles – The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing and Blackthorne. From the beginning, it was a nice collection, which came with a few nice bonuses, which we often call for similar products. You have the opportunity to rewind the game, watch the walkthrough and join the game at any time, save as you wish, and there is also a kind of virtual museum with various materials, unused content, music and interviews. Just a nice package. And now he grew unexpectedly two more games.

The compilation also includes The Lost Vikings 2 from 1997 and RPM Racing from 1991, which is actually the spiritual predecessor of Rock n ‘Roll Racing. In addition, the latter title comes with various image modes. But even with that, apparently in Blizzardu they were not satisfied and came up with other improvements, features and additions.

The Lost Vikings 2 are interesting in that Blizzard was only in charge of the SNES version and other platforms (PC, PlayStation, Saturn) were held by developers from the Beam Software studio.

According to the authors, the museum now offers a new perspective on the development of classics through document design. Thanks to this, fans can learn how these games were born from the original concepts to the final product. The previously available racing game Rock N Roll Racing has been enriched by a new streaming mode. Thanks to it, it is possible to broadcast the game without worries with MIDI versions of the licensed songs of the original soundtrack. All news are already available and have been added to the collection for free via the latest update.

It is worth noting that RPM Racing (short for Radical Psycho Machine Racing) for the SNES was still the responsibility of the developers under the name Silicon & Synapse and was a remake of the older game Racing Destruction Set from EA. The Lost Vikings 2 are interesting in that Blizzard was only in charge of the SNES version and other platforms (PC, PlayStation, Saturn) were taken care of by developers from the Beam Software studio. Their version used pre-rendered 3D graphics, CD music and dubbing, while Blizzard continued to rely on SNES for classic styling from the original game.
