At least a couple of different paths are possible in this regard.
A first solution may consist in submitting a specific request to the competent territorial office of the AdE regarding the request for reimbursement, or by requesting it in the deceased’s tax return.
Alternatively, the heirs can send the request – always to the competent offices of the Revenue Agency – by transmitting: a) the substitute declaration o l’act of notoriety in which their status as heirs is certified; b) the request for transfer of reimbursements and c) in the event that there are more than one heirs, the delegation in favor of a co-heir [sottoscritta con firma autenticata – o digitale – del/dei delegante/i] to receive from the AdE the entire amount of the reimbursement and therefore also the share due to each delegating person/co-heir*.
* All this documentation can be sent to the Revenue Agency by accessing the dedicated reserved area of the site and using the “delivery of documents and requests”.
Ultimately, therefore, by using one of these methods, you heirs should be able to easily request the full refund intended for your mother.
