It is this Friday, January 20 that the Nice Artists Collective formalizes its support for the candidacy of NICE2028. An initiative consistent with the vision of this candidacy, which aims to extend its cultural impact throughout the Maralpine territory. This presentation takes place within the‘Artistic, a veritable temple dedicated to Art in all its forms. This emblematic place of the city becomes the new HQ of the team of NICE2028, in particular thanks to its auditorium which can accommodate unexpected meetings. The unexpected, moreover, is an integral part of the theme chosen by the City of Nice for its candidacy: “Connecting the Unexpected”. A will consisting in extending the cultural vision towards the unknown, surprising new horizons proposing new artistic visions.

Virtual Art

We had the chance to have a foretaste of this ambitious vision, with guest artists who honored us with their presence. First of all, Patrick Moya presented us with his virtual world artistic project. A connected universe reproducing well-known places in Nice, in particular theArtistic, which needs no introduction. This fabulous project perfectly transcribes the ambition of NICE2028 to connect imaginary, truly unexpected worlds.

A surprising guest

Always in a desire to surprise us, we were able to see the crystalline talent of an exceptional artist. Alicia Fabrydancer at the Opéra de Nice, enchanted us to the tune of Swan Lake of Tchaïkovski. A moment of escape offered to us by this dancer as light as a zephyr.

A final in apotheosis

To conclude this presentation, we had the privilege of listening to the prodigious voice of the baritone Richard Alexandre Rittelmann. A real maestro who interpreted the No Sleepthe absolutely sublime musical work of the great Puccini. An interpretation of Opera that we had the chance to experience in this iconic place that is theArtistic.

This presentation in the new HQ of NICE2028 proved to us the strong involvement of the Nice Artists Collective to support the Application of the potential future European capital of culture. A desire transcribed by these high-level guests, as surprising as they are unexpected.
