After the earthquake that hit her family, Antoinette Rychner burst onto the literary scene with renewed energy. In No matter where we are (On the other hand, 2019), she soberly exorcises her little boy’s illness and expresses gratitude to those who helped her. With War coins in Switzerland (Les Solitaires intempestifs), she created, in collaboration with Maya Bösch, a play that recently took over the scenes of French-speaking Switzerland and inaugurates a more political vein. And at the start of the year, she is digging this vein with what is becoming a genre in itself, a post-apocalypse story.
