The local industrial chain of coffee growing and production is developing extremely fast and more and more companies are setting up their production bases here. “The combination of a strong industrial base and a professional scientific research team here makes it a very suitable place for companies like us to develop their new products,” said Shan Yunhui, manager of another coffee manufacturing company.
Additional efforts are also being made in the area to unleash the potential for growth and promote sustainable development. Dukhon is also home to the Yunnan Provincial Tropical Agriculture Research Institute, which has been conducting research on coffee plantations since 1967.
For the past year 2022, more than 11 thousand tons of coffee were produced in Duhon and the industrial output value was 3.08 billion yuan (about 433.7 million US dollars). The development of the coffee growing and production sector is revitalizing areas like Dakhon and presenting new opportunities for their development.
