The parties forming the coalition on Monday, March 15, have agreed to grant a one-time benefit of 500 euros to families for each dependent child also for children in out-of-home care institutions, Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš (JV) said today after the Cooperation Meeting.
He said that the parties had reached an agreement today and that these institutions would receive money for the children in their care.
The Prime Minister noted that the Ministry of Welfare will prepare this decision and the government will approve it.
