the clubs “want to show that football knows how to adapt” • Actufoot • Pro / amateur football news

Today, the City of Nice has officially reopened the sports facilities and young footballers will therefore be able to resume training according to a very strict protocol. Some representatives of the Nice clubs believe that this is the right time to show that the associations can adapt despite the health situation.

This morning, the Mediterranean League published the protocol for resuming training for young people. In the process, the opening of sports facilities was formalized in the City of Nice. At Cavigal, the sports section took part in training even during periods of confinement. For Axel Mazerbourg, it will therefore be necessary to follow what has been put in place and above all to be very attentive and vigilant with regard to compliance with the health protocol. “We have been training since the start of confinement with the non-contact health protocol, without dueling and with a compulsory mask for educators. We will therefore continue this system with all the categories concerned by the recovery, adding all the new measures taken by the Government. “

On New Year’s Eve and throughout the City of Nice, the reopening of facilities for minors is a relief. Even if there will be many restrictions, which is logical, the clubs will have to adapt, explains Laurent Laurent, sports director of ESSNN. “We are in the process of putting everything in place to welcome our players concerned under the conditions imposed by the League. We must and we will adapt, by carrying out sessions that exclude all opposition. This is our only solution. “

Educators on the alert

Logically, with many children to manage, the only custodians of health measures will be the coaches and educators. Their role will therefore be more than important to continue to bring their sport to life. “Educators will have a key role in this recovery. They will have to rigorously apply the health measures imposed by the Government. If we want to resume smoothly quickly, everyone has to follow the guidelines. And also that all football educators set an example for young players and parents ”, explains Axel.

The sports director of ESSNN is also of the same opinion. Without good support from the various players in the clubs, the training sessions could not take place. “We are going to organize a meeting with the educators and the category managers to make everyone aware of the new measures imposed by the Government and the League. This is essential and it will allow us to work in optimal conditions. “

Team work

The future of football is at stake with this health crisis. All the sports associations are therefore trying to be in contact to carry out this resumption of football. And by succeeding in maintaining activities, Axel believes that players in amateur sport and football will show that they can adapt to all constraints.

Football is often criticized but we must congratulate ourselves on the work and the involvement of all amateur clubs. We fight every day so that our young people find pleasure through their passion. Like I said with a New Year’s Eve coach, I think we are on the right track. With all the players in football, we are ready to show that football knows how to adapt and continue to give happiness, despite the health crisis while being responsible for the health of children in the first place. “

Now that the facilities are open and the protocol has been defined, all that remains is to wait for the results of this recovery in the coming weeks.
