The Bourges 18 club unveiled a press release on its social networks in which it addresses the non-rise of Tours FC in National 2, which should therefore allow the club, second in its group of National 3 behind the TFC, to be promoted in National 2. The club has written, through the voice of its president Olivier Rigolet, “We take note of the decision of the Federal Club Control Commission to refuse the admission of the TOURS FC club to National 2. Due to our second place in the group of National 3 CENTER VAL DE LOIRE, this same commission has informed that we will receive an official invitation for accession to National 2. The Bourges 18 is ready to assume it both sportingly and financially. And I am proud as President for the whole club and more particularly for our public and private partners who have always accompanied us. I am convinced that the City of Bourges and the Departmental Council will be able to support us as they always have done for clubs entering the upper division such as BOURGES 15 this season and Bourges Foot last season In all humility, with the help of my Board of Directors, we will prepare our presentation file to the French Football Federation, which I am sure, we will be officially promoted. ”
