The moment of intimacy between the two was shown when Prabowo attended the “Gus Muhaimin Road to Election” event attended by PKB cadres.
Monitoring detik.com on site, Sunday (10/30/2022), Prabowo arrived around 09:49 WIB at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta. Also present were the ranks of the DPP of the Gerindra Party who accompanied Prabowo, namely the General Secretary of Gerindra Ahmad Muzani, the vice-presidents of Gerindra Irfan Yusuf Hasyim and Sugiono and the president of the OKK Prasetyo Hadi.
The arrival of Prabowo and Cak Imin was greeted by loud applause from all the PKB executives who filled the venue. They heard them singing a Garuda sounding song in my chest.
“Gus Muhaimin is my idol, Pak Prabowo is my dream, I’m sure the presidential elections will win,” the cadres sang to greet the two party officials.
Cak Imin started the event by giving a speech. There is something interesting in his speech. Cak Imin hailed Prabowo as a presidential candidate (candidate).
“What we honor, we are proud of the Indonesian presidential candidate, Pak Prabowo Subianto, whom I honor,” said Cak Imin.
Cak Imin’s words were immediately greeted by loud applause from all the cadres present. Prabowo immediately stood up and showed an applauded salute.
After Cak Imin, it was Prabowo’s turn to make his remarks. Prabowo highly praised the figure of Cak Imin in front of the PKB cadres.
At first, Prabowo joked that he was inferior in his speech after Cak Imin. The reason, he said, was that Cak Imin was considered adept at delivering speeches that aroused enthusiasm.
“Since I was invited, I have prepared myself. I was actually told that I should speak first. I am always afraid to speak after Gus Imin,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo then mentioned his past as a former soldier. Meanwhile, according to him, Cak Imin has a character who from the very beginning of his leadership has been in contact with the people.
“I am a former soldier. He is the leader of the people from below,” added Prabowo.
Prabowo also raised the figure of Cak Imin who merged with the circle of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Prabowo sees Cak Imin as an excellent speaker. It was at that moment that Prabowo lazily asked “who am I” from the PKB cadres.
“Especially the UN community. So, what, yes, such a speaker. He’s a speaker. What am I, huh?” Prabowo said to the roar of the paintings echoing around the venue.
The question was immediately met with shouts of “President” from the PKB cadres. There was a commotion in the room.
