The climax of the slate festival was successfully held

Martin Schiefer, lawyer, tender expert and initiator of the Schiefer Festival, is making people sit up and take notice this week with his series of events. After the two high-profile panel discussions on the topic of “Innovations in construction to create the sustainability transition” (LEADERSNET reported) and “Digitization guarantees prosperity!” (LEADERSNET reported), the highlight now followed – the presentation of the Schiefer Award.

“The trends are clearly moving towards sustainability, digitalization and innovation. You have to have a bit of courage because the old regulations weren’t designed for that. The first award ceremony took place at the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna’s 1st district and honored outstanding personalities and projects from the field of public procurement law.

The winners in five categories were brought onto the stage.

• Sustainable Sourcing Category: Energie Steiermark AG, Martin Graf, was awarded for his extraordinary commitment to designing sustainable, future-oriented procurement processes.
• Special category “Best Team”: Schiefer Rechtsanwälte GmbH, were honored for their extraordinary commitment to designing sustainable, future-oriented procurement processes according to the credo “Rethinking procurement law”.
