Olmedo (Valladolid), on July 21, 2023.- The Classical Theater Festival of
Olmedo stars in the ONCE coupon on Thursday, July 27. Five
Millions of coupons will broadcast this theatrical event in the town of Valladolid,
which will be held from July 21 to 30.
The mayor of Olmedo, Alfonso Centeno, and the ONCE delegate in Castilla y
León, Ismael Pérez, have presented this coupon in an act that has taken place
at San Pedro Performing Arts Center (former Convent of La Merced:
Church of San Pedro and San Julián), and in which they have been accompanied by the
Vice President of the ONCE Territorial Council, Rodrigo Gonzalo and for the
co-directors of the Olmedo Clásico Festival Germán Vega and Benjamín Sevilla.
The Olmedo Classic Theater Festival is an initiative of the City Council of
Olmedo, with the aim of promoting culture and classical theater. Is celebrated
since 2006.
It is one of the main national and international Classical Theater festivals.

The performances of the works are held in the Corrala or Patio del Palacio
del Caballero de Olmedo, 5,000 square meters, surrounded by the wall.
Also called Corral de Comedias, it is set evoking the
enclosures of the same name from the 16th and 17th centuries.
This festival has received several awards, such as one of the Piñones de Oro
which annually delivers the Casa de Valladolid in Madrid (2015); or the Prize of
Theater ‘Province of Valladolid’ (2016).
