The famous Paris-Roubaix dice classic was won by Italian cyclist Sonny Colbrelli, who was the fastest in the spurt of three refugees after six hours and 258 kilometers. The European champion in the mass start race dealt with two other debutants, the Belgian Florian Vermeersch and the Dutch Mathieum van der Poel, in the close finish. During his eighth start at “Hell of the North”, Zdeněk Štybar finished in 26th place and did not finish in the top ten for the second time.
