The Civil Guard finds a baby carrycot in the area where Gimeno disappeared with her two daughters | Radio Club Tenerife

The Civil Guard search team has found a baby carrycot in the area where the drifting ship owned by Tomás Gimeno was found, who disappeared taking his six and one year old daughters, as reported by sources close to the case to Cadena SER.

For the moment, the Judicial Police keeps all hypotheses open and proceedings have already been opened by the Court of Instruction Number 3 of Güímar for which the father of the little girls is investigated for the crime of kidnapping.

The search work by the Maritime Rescue and Civil Guard will resume this Friday with the first light of day and the judicial police continue with the forensic analysis of the vessel found where, after analyzing the dock security cameras, Gimeno carried several packages the night of the disappearance of the minors.

As the SER has learned, the father of the minors entered the dock up to three times before leaving for an unknown course on his ship. According to security camera records, Gimeno left the dock at 12:30 am on Tuesday. Subsequently, he used his mobile phone twice: the first at 1:20 a.m. to call his ex-partner and tell him that he would never see his daughters again, while the second was to send a farewell message to the grandparents of the children. The Civil Guard keeps all lines of investigation open.
