ZARAGOZA, 4 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Civil Guard, as the main public security force on the almost 4,000 kilometers of the Camino de Santiago, has created the institutional stamp for printing on the credential of passage carried by pilgrims in order to obtain ‘la Compostela’, accreditation of the pilgrimage to the tomb of the Apostle Santiago, once the completion of the necessary stages has been justified.
In the case of the province of Huesca, the stamp for this credential on the Camino de Santiago will be found in the Jaca and Canfranc barracks.
This seal of the Civil Guard was released on April 26, on the occasion of the visit that His Majesty the King made to the Civil Guard post in Sarria (Lugo), key stage where the last 100 kilometers on foot of the French Way begin for the arrival in Santiago de Compostela.
The seal of the Civil Guard will be available in certain localities with Civil Guard barracks through which different Jacobean routes of the Way pass in the provinces of Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Navarra, Huesca, La Rioja, Cantabria, Asturias, A Coruña, Lugo, Pontevedra, León, Burgos, Soria and Palencia, as well as on board the Mobile Offices of Attention to the Pilgrim (OMAP).
