Reims (Marne) is preparing to become the European cultural capital in 2028. For the occasion, the city presented the logo of the event this Sunday. The visual was presented to the public at the Auguste Delaune stadium at the end of the Ligue 1 football match between Stade de Reims and Olympique Lyonnais.

The final choice is the result of the votes of the population, specifies France Blue Champagne-Ardenne. For several weeks, Internet users were able to express their preference online. The votes of 6,252 spectators of the football match were added to this. The public had difficulty deciding on one of the two proposals.
A vote hung until the end
The acclaimed logo received 50.3% of the vote, against 49.7% for the other creation. Both visuals were created by students from the Lycée Chagall. The logo chosen evokes a labyrinth forming the name of the city.
